GEM IN THE COMMUNITY
On Sunday, September 18, 2016 GEM proudly marched in the 23rd Annual Brooklyn Puerto Rican Day Parade. The day was full of Puerto Rican and GEM pride. GEM employees mingled with the Grand Marshal (Chief Jeffrey Maddrey) and parade goers, adding fun to the festivities with raffles, games and prizes. In keeping with GEM’s community and family spirit, GEM awarded one well deserving Boricua College student with a scholarship award for her outstanding academic performance. GEM has participated in this event for the past few years and we look forward to continually doing so.
On Sunday, September 25, 2016 GEM participated in the Atlantic Antic. It was a day full of fun, raffles and prizes. GEM welcomed the community with open arms and collected over 500 email, address and telephone numbers. A huge shout out to the Brooklyn Crew for their hard work! GO Cindy, Rosie, Miguel, Alexis, Eddie, Larissa, Vivian George and the GEM Team!
